It’s Been Almost A Year…
Wow, so I know, it’s been a REALLY long time since I last updated this little blog of mine. Umm yeah, well I guess I’ll just update on all the big things that have happened since last September when I bitched about a certain idiot that no one cares about.
Actually, nothing that great really has happened actually. I’m still living in Fleetwood, Shane moved out, and Chris Hamm is now living here, which is cool. Uhh, I got through my first year of being a Physics major, which is also cool… it was difficult, but I’m surviving haha. But eww, enough about school.
Let’s see… in April I took my second trip down to Disney World, which was absolutely amazing. I LOVE it there, and just wanna go down and never come back haha. I literally came home from Disney, realized I had a shit ton of work to catch up on in school, and I cried. It was like I got a taste of summer vacation, but had to endure four more weeks of stress/finals before I could have it again. Gross. But, that’s done and over with, so that’s that. Haha.
I took what was… *counts* … my seventh trip to Cedar Point in June. It was horrible. It was me, Tyler, Mike, Hamm, and Megan Kowalewski. Here’s the story: So as always, I worried like a lunatic over the weather because it was showing things like “30% chance of showers” and all that crap, like I normally do. So we finally drive up, and I’m all excited. It was Megan and Hamm’s first times there, so we went to the park, and of course, we figured since we’ll be here all week, we’ll just relax and take our time tonight. So we did. The next morning I woke up, and my back was in pain, and I had a really bad headache. But I thought nothing of it. So we chilled that morning at the hotel for a bit, and I started to progressively feel worse. Around lunch time we went out and ate at Cracker Barrel. Rather, everyone else ate, while I laid there feeling like death. So then we decided to stop at a Rite Aid (or whatever it was) and get me some medicine. I took ibuprofen for my headache, and took some disgusting Alka-Seltzer for my stomach. Well, we’ll just say it didn’t agree with OR help my stomach at all. We got to the park, and I got out of the car, and you know that feeling you get when you just KNOW you’re going to throw up?! Yeah, I got that feeling the second I was upright. So we started walking into the park, and probably halfway down the midway I just puked. I couldn’t stop, and it was embarrassing as shit as everyone pointed and stared. I remember yelling at people for being fags and staring, and I know Tyler flipped out on someone as well. But then I realized, I felt REALLY good after that was out of my system. It was funny, I puked before going on any rides, and afterwards, I got on roller coasters like I was never even sick that day lol. But anyways, that night, probably at around 3am, I woke up with the worst pain in my stomach that I’ve ever felt. Tyler drove me to the hospital, where I found out that I had gastroenteritis, some disgustingly painful stomach virus, and once back at the hotel, I didn’t leave my bed for the remaining three days.
No reason to cry over it though I guess. It’s all over with, and I’m going back in 15 days! =] I can’t wait to finally enjoy myself there. The same people are going again, so it’ll be like June’s trip never happened. At least I hope. NO bad weather, and NO getting sick! Haha.
Umm but yeah, that’s it really. I would have updated a lot sooner, but I spent July taking a Summer Calculus II class which took up most of my time. Speaking of July, I turned 21 on July 4th this year! I’m now legal! There’s no amazing story with that though. I had friends/family come over to my apartment and drink. I made a cosmo for my mom, and me and my dad had Captain Morgan’s Long Island Iced Tea, and they laughed at me in my drunken state, and then after midnight, we went to Homer’s here in Fleetwood on Main St. All in all it was a good night. =] I had five drinks, three shots, and NO HANGOVER! I’m that cool haha.
But okay, that’s enough rambling for now. I’ll update once I have something cooler to say.
